They are cheap. Inflatable furniture is the cheapest kind of furniture around. You can get plain sofas for two at about $30, while the more jazzily printed ones could go up to $50. Even the large beds are obtainable at well under $50. Thus, these become good choices if you are living in a temporary house and want furniture for the stop-gap arrangement.
The fabric of the sofa also plays a very important role in its selection. You have to decide whether your sofa will be used for formal occasions or will be used very regularly. Leather recliners can be great but may pinch your pockets slightly harder. If you have kids, the sofa will get some roughing up frequently. Children tend to drop food, juices and other junk on the sofa. The sofa, in such cases must be very simple and practical. It may have busy prints to hide the stains and dark colors to keep people from noticing the little "accidents", as the best detergents and dry cleaners may not be able to remove them completely.
